A Bit About Trisha
Trisha North is the Founder and Communications Lead of Oshawa Social Co. She is an Indigenous creative with a passion for wellness who provides communications support for Indigenous-focused projects, organizations, and individuals across sectors.

Seeing the need for healing in her loved ones and community, Trisha committed to advancing Indigenous-focused programs, campaigns, and workshops that promote culturally relevant initiatives and wellness strategies. She gained valuable insights throughout her own healing journey and looks forward to a future in which her son and other Indigenous people have the necessary resources and support to thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

With over two decades of experience, Trisha has worked with Indigenous communities and organizations across Canada, offering facilitation, brand development, content creation, social media management, and public relations. She believes intentional and thoughtful communications can empower people, strengthen families, and contribute to healthier communities.

Based in Winnipeg, with Cree roots in Northern Manitoba and Saulteaux in Southern Manitoba, Trisha spends much of her free time with her young son engaging in fun hobbies, wellness practices and connecting to the land.
